Hey racheee
I just caught a show called Distant Shores on WLIW... i think it was the first episode and I really liked it! it's about a doctor from London who relocates his family to oen of the islands... not sure which, i dont' think they said... mayube te Isle of Man or Iona?
Anyway.... has this show been on a long time in the UK? am i way behind as to not to keep watching it?

I've never heard of it...
believe it or not the TV we watch is either Topical Panel Shows (Like Never Mind the Buzzcocks or Anually Retentive) or US Shows that we download or the ones the are shown here! I will google it and let you know more!

Seeing as I am on my lunch break now...
It was on in 2005, Peter Davison was in it, he was a Doctor Who a few years back. We love Doctor Who in my house (especially the new one) they apparently live on an Island off the coast of Northumberland. My husbands parents grew up in Northumberland...its spectacular (see picture of their neighbourhood castle)
But I have never seen the show! Sorry!

they had that castle on the show! i am assuming it's not on anymore... but i think i am goign to grab the repeats on WLIW.
