Yet another car accident here
I'm driving home at 3pm & was on Peninsula Blvd. in Rockville Centre--only doing 20mph, well the lady in front of me starts skidding so I slow down even more & w/o any warning, she STOPS, completely. NO ONE is in front of her. I then proceed to stop & start sliding, but stop completely. The guy behind me stops in time. BUT THEN the 4th car, didn't & creams the back of the guy behind me who then smashes into my car, I thankfully only tapped the car in front of me (no damage to her car). My car has some slight damage (or what looks like slight damage). BUT LONG STORY SHORT.....
we waited for 2 1/2 hours for a cop (when they arrived they said there were repts of 60 accidents in the last 3 hours). The fire dept came first & everyone was okay so they leave & say they called the cops....the mounted unit police come (in a car) 15 min. later & they say they have to call a local unit....we waited for 2 1/2 hours....in that time we saw 2 BRUTAL crashes, right beside us w/ a car coming from the other side of the road & crashing head on & then another lady slid into/over the median & hit a car broadside. It was soooooooooooo bad out there today.
Then after the cop hands back all my information (at about 6:30pm), my car battery died, thankfully, he jumped it for me.
All I kept saying was how thankful I was baby wasn't in the car....

Thanks everyone...I'm fine, just a bit sore & a little shaken up. There's nothing scarier than looking in that review mirror & knowing you are going to get hit. I also heard the other car hit him (the guy that hit me) & that was loud as anything...
