Does anyone else find this extremely rude...**Updated**.
Or are my pregnancy hormones just getting the best of me?
So Here it is 4:52pm- I have my coat, hat scarf & gloves on getting ready to run out the door to catch my train home when this lady with a huge shopping bag comes up to my desk.
She tells me "Oh I hope your not in a rush, I want to show you something"
As the point I'm like !@#$!! There goes my train.
The lady proceeds to empty this shopping bag full of homemade chocolate lolipops & candy that shes selling. One by one, they come out of the bag & spread out all over my desk.
At this point, I'm like
  Is this ***** lady kidding me?
She then starts telling me prices for each & then asks me what I want to buy. Me trying to be nice kindly tells her that I have no cash on me (which I really didn't). I tell her that everything looks great but I'm on my way out.
This woman has the nerve to tell me that shes leaving a few items on my desk overnight so I can give her the money first thing tomorrow morning.
I wont even go into detail of how I ended up running out the door 15 min later, but, I thought this was extremely rude & seriously the whole ride home, all I can think about was knocking this woman right out.
UUggHh! Vent over.

Update:
Okay, now I feel like a reject.  On my desk this morning, I find a bag with a bunch of those home made chocolates that lady was trying to sell me. It turns out, one of the ladies in my office purchased a bunch of stuff for me as a gift. How sweet was that?

extremely rude. i would have told her politely no thank you, i have to watch what i eat - and everyone i know HATES chocolate (a lil lie, but so what)

its definitely not your pregnancy hormones cause i'm not pregnant and that annoyed the crap out of me just reading it!
i would've said "i have my coat, hat and gloves on. you think i wanna buy chocolate??? no, i wanna go home and rest and get away from annoying people like you!!!! have a nice evening!  "

Above and beyond RUDE! Stops you in a work place to sell you something that has nothing to do with your company's business. Then tell you to pay her later!
Tell her that she caught you at a very bad time when she stopped by your desk, that you had a train to catch and that you did not have time to explain to her that you can't have chocolate because of the caffeine being bad for pregnancy. That you don't know anyone to give this chocolate to and that you are not interested.

it really stinks that she would not just take your polite "no thanks" - rather trying to push you into it - it's like it is conditioning people to be mean - if she would have just accepted your polite way of saying you are not interested then it would have been fine. instead, she makes you all stressed out.

either way, she doesnt even deserve a penny profit from that LACK of respecting you.
nevermind pouring the lollipops onto your desk, that would have irked me.
