Road Rage

It's sad for me to admit, but my man has a road rage problem and it's causing stress and tension in our relationship. Anyone out there have any ideas on how to deal with this problem with their significant other?

Lots of verbal outbursts, generally ****** off at everyone on the road, flipping people off, rolls down window to yell at drivers, etc.

I hate to say this, but I think people who have severe road rage may have an underlying anger problem that manifests itself that way. Maybe counseling?Chat Icon

agreed.

counseling would be your best bet - he needs to examine WHY he is so angry in general - and WHY he is taking out his anger on something so insignificant as people driving on the road.

actually this is a good idea.

i get the feeling that he doesn't realize how bad he is.

maybe by refusing to be in the car with him will help to make him understand how scary his behavior is, and that you will not tolerate it.

you guys are TTC right? what are you going to do when he wants to drive your kids?
