I cant believe his wife left him because it was so stressful. Talk about for sickness and health, for better or worse. I guess she didn't get that part! How do you walk out on your kids.

He said on the one year anniversary of losing his leg June 3rd. She signed the paperwork for the divorce. She said it was to stressful

ditto, i replied on the other thread first.
i just can't imagine how she left after he was only home one year... i get that it's stressful but that's what counseling is for, KWIM? and how do you leave FOUR KIDS behind?

Everyones life is stressful in some way or another.
I just can't imagine how she left her kids there (even if she sees them once a week she still left them kwim?

Well I do think that ABC made her sound like the bad guy... I have a few problems with the story.
After he go hurt he got money bought her a ring, and they renewed their vows. If you didn't get a long from the begining. You didn't get along while he was in Iraq and you didn't get a long when he was in the hospital, then why would you accept the ring from him and agree to renew?
Also she said that 2 kids live with her but then later on she said he is a single father of 4 kids? Well if 2 live with you then he would be a single dad of 2 no?(to me single parent means no help from the other OR you are the SOLE provider meaning they live with you full time)
And she says "why him" WELL maybe because he SERVED our country, he lost his leg and he has at least 2 of YOUR KIDS LIVING WITH HIM in a house thats FALLING APART

living in a falling apart house that YOU did not pay the mortgage for & it was almost lost!

I never watch this show, but I caught it last night (and cried through most of it)
I missed the beginning and only knew that he was divorced.
After reading the article posted above...I wonder what happened to his first kid- the one with a different mother?
