it almost happened to us, too!! but when DH realized it would run over and probably not record right, he did something to reset it so that it would record it. soo annoying though!

worse, my DVR didn't record the Superbowl even though it said it did. I ended up watching House when I got home from the party.
We are the phone with Cablevision now.

I taped all the shows afterwards b/c of that fact. You can usually see it a week later on fox.com
