Which would you choose? B'way Show
For Valentine's Day we agreed we'd buy e/o a tix to a Bway show & spend a nice day in the city (while MIL watches DD). We originally were going to see A Bronx Tale (DH's fave movie) but then I see its a one-man play & 1 scene....
Our 2nd option/choice is Jersey Boys...
Have you seen one? Both? Comments?
What would you see?
By the way A Bronx Tale got excellent reviews (as did Jersey boys).

I have not personally seen either but my parents saw Jersey Boys and thought it was one of the most amazing plays they have ever seen, they raved about it.

i saw jersey boys which i loved!!
My sister saw Bronx Tale, she said Chazz was great and it was very good
I guess it depends if you want the musical or one man show - i don't think you will be dissapointed with either

I didn't see Jersey Boys but I saw A Bronx Tale and loved it! Chazz is amazing...you don't even think about it as a one-man show. It's very captivating, he's a great storyteller.

Jersey Boys is sold out until forever unless you want limited viewing seats. You could see if they, by chance, have two tickets to sit somewhere half-way decent, but I'd go with A Bronx Tale if you wanted to do this soon.

Broadwaybox.com actually has a ton of seats (great ones!) for Jersey boys but they are pricey...average $150/ticket...we are dying to see it!

Re: Which would you choose? B'way Show
for my xmas present this year DH is taking me to Jersey Boys- I chose that show since I figured that's the one musical DH could sit through. He did ask if I wanted to see Bronx Tale (he loves that movie) but I wanted a musical.
I think you can't go wrong with either!

I haven't seen either, but I heard both are excellent. Either way you're going to have a great time, I would choose based on price.

See, I just refuse to pay all the handling fees that places like that charge. Since I work in NYC I'm the designated ticket getter for everyone who wants show tickets.
