spinoff to waterspout post RE: carseat ?
When do you know its time to move the straps up a level? My dd is 4m old, and I feel like she's so uncomfortable were the straps are, but I don't want to jump to next level to prematurely.
When did you moms do it? If you remember.

We have a Chicco and we moved her straps up a level when she was 3 months. She looked so uncomfortable in there and it was hard to get them on. The second level is much better for us.

when they are rear facing the straps should be below their shoulder-come from below the shoulder and over, forward facing nearest hole that puts the straps over the the shoulder.
I change it up when the tops of their shoulders are at the next hole depending if they are rear or forward facing.

Look at the instructions that came with the carseat. It will tell you when the straps need to be moved up. It's based upon where their shoulders are resting.
