OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!
Ok..I am a smoker. I know, I know! I hate it. I saw the commercial last night on tv..the 1 866 ny quits...so I decided to call it and see what they can send to me to help me stop.
So, its around midnight, the first chance I get to pick up the phone. I dial 1 800 ny quits...
Woman with a husky voice picks up (recording) and says...
"Do you have that nasty stuff in your mouth?"
So of course I am thinking, shes talking about cigarettes, nicotine, tobacco.
She then goes on to say other stuff that I CANNOT post here. I almost died!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets just say she wasnt talking about cigarettes in my mouth. It was a sex line!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt slam down the phone fast enough! My bleeding ears!!!
So just so all of you know...
1800 NY QUITS = sex line
1866 NY QUITS = stop smoking line.
Now all of you sickos who are dialing as we speak...WAIT! I dont know how much they are going to charge me for this freakin phone call!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang up that phone...dirty, dirty people!

At my last job (and I worked for a HUGE company)for our everything help desk the number was 1-888-xxxxxxxx, but every now and then people would automatically dail 1-800xxxxxxx and get a sex line. The first time my boss did that I was because he was dialing on speakerphone.

Actually you are right...
It was midnight, the baby was sleeping, I was lonely, the dh was at work...I needed something to get me by! On top of all that, I was trying to quit smoking, I needed some kind of crutch to get me through!!!
