Okay, I will admit it. I am not perfect...
Nor is my son. This week, everysingle night he has had his dinner (mainly pasta from a can with chicken diced into it) fed to him from a spoon while either lying on the sofa OR running around watching "CARS"
This is a terrible habit and I must break it now.
Can someone come over and do it for me please???
No takers...until then, he will eat dinner in the living room.
OH and tonight for dinner, even though I made him a gorgeous dinner of scrambled eggs and baked beans...he wound up eating 2 bananas, rice crackers and a fruit smoothie. I am a terrible mother. Really bad. Horrible mother.

Yesterday Cailen and I had hummos while sitting on the living room floor. He suc ked it off my fingers then decided he wanted to su ck it off his own fingers.
Then wipe his hummosy hands on the floor as he scooted away from me....
I, however, will admit that I AM perfect....

I can relate! Last night, DD refused the healthy dinner I made so I fed her yogurt while I sat on the couch and she ran around the room, making pit stops in front of me with her mouth open for another bite.

I do this too. DD will only eat one meal a day "good"- if she eats a hearty lunch at the table, dinner will be a bite here or there of what we are eating off our plates (for some reason- if it is on our plate, it is OK- put it on a plate for her- she doesn't want it) 
But many times- it's a hand full of cheerios, a applesauce container, and some pieces of chicken.... on the go- running around in the livingroom.

Great, so whipped cream out of a can and squirted onto a three year olds index fingers for him to lick off is not a good idea.  Good to know.

We are currently eating with our heads turned toward Sesame Street.
BTW, it takes 40 balloons to lift Snuffy off the ground.

I was at the Pediatricians office yesterday. And I made the comment how the girls are not gaining weight & now they really don't want to eat. He said "Let them eat whatever the hell they want" I LMAO! He doesn't think it should be a struggle.
