I swear I really don't know what people think sometimes.
This happened to DH over the weekend. He sat down in seat that was part of a row of attached seats. When he sat down it raised the seat up a little of the woman on the end and she looked over at him and said "WOW, you really need to loose some weight"! I turned around and said "WOW, that was pretty rude"!
She was just as speechless as we were!
People can be idiots!

i am so sorry that you had hear such inappropriate comments. the person sounds like a jerk....
Try not to feel bad people are idiots sometimes... A professor of mine asked to see a wedding photo and I showed it to her excitedly only to hear the FIRST words out of her mouth be "you've gained weight since then".... (keep in mind that I have barely gained 10 pounds since my wedding which was 2.5 years ago!!) I was floored esp she said it in front of other people in my program... It really bothered me for awhile until i realized that she has her own issues

I'm sorry that happened to you...some people have nerve....that happened to me too at my old job when I went to visit...hadn't seen anyone in 2 yrs and gained some weight due to my PCOS....a man I used to work with said "Wow you put on some weight"...thanks genius!!!

I've put on weight since I got married 4 mo. ago and I know there's been whispers at work that people think I'm pregnant. Unfortunately, I'm not.
