spinoff to classmates - a question about myspace
The post about Classmates.com got me thinking about people visiting others' pages.
So I have a question about Myspace. Can people who are "private" see when/who came on to see their front page, which shows the block?
Or do they just see that another person viewed their page?
Is there anyway for someone to know WHO is trying to look at their page? Or even if they are not private, can a user tell if another user came on to their page?
And does it register whenever anyone, new or "friend" goes on to your page, as in new views?

If you have a private page, there's very little that a non-friend can see.

Yeah I have a private account and my photos are set to private as well. I only have a handful of "friends" that I do not know IRL...like my biatches from PR

if your page is on private then nobody can see you unless they are friends with you!!
they came out with these "profile trackers" you can download so when people visit your page( people that are friends with you ONLY) you can see which ones are viewing... it does not work anyway, so no worries!!

Me too. Right now I live in the hood of Dublin, Ireland lol
I just recently moved from Fiji and Iceland... the UK was nice too! I'm quite the world traveler apparently lol
Haha- I don't even own a passport
I found an old friend on there when it said I lived in the UK, and she said that it was so great that I lived there and how do I like it? I said oh no, its a decoy!

yea i had one that i thought worked, but it totally did not.. and i kept getting pop-ups so i deleted it..

I had a tracker once that showed who looked at your profile IF they had the tracker as well. It worked. It would also show the location of others who didn't have it, but it wasn't always accurate. I since deleted it because I just can't be bothered.

The trackers do work if the other person has the tracker too. Their pic comes right up!
