I say this after every State of the Union.
I go in knowing that most of what he is going to say is going to annoy me or even piss me off.
But I don't feel like you can complain about what he says if you refuse to listen to it.

Oh I watch it, but I hate how hypocritical it is. I also find it nauseating that people feel the need to give a standing ovation after every point he makes. It is so contrived.

great moments in stupidity.
I just hope the dems can get the stimulus package passed quickly. Unemployment benefit extensions and senior tax rebates are very near and dear to my heart right now.

I don't think he's admitting we were in a recession, but he *is* going to take credit for getting us out of one.... even though we weren't in one.... but his leadership ability got us out of the recession we weren't in yet....

wow with that kind of crack research you could be on his staff.
Honestly, after reading most of both of them, it's hard to see much difference. The only thing that tipped me off was when he mentioned "3.5 years since September 11, 2001".... I was thinking, "OK, he probably doesn't know what year this is, but whoever wrote his script wouldn't be that far off..."
