100th Day of School Project
My daughter, who is in kindergarten, is having a 100th day of school celebration on February 12th. She has to do a project for it. It has to be 100 of something on paper, or in any other fashion as well. I am looking for ideas, we want to try and make it as original as we can. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

I teach K and we do these projects together as a class. One that went over really well was a big piece of black construction paper or black oak tag and I had the kids glue googly eyes down in pairs. We titled it "100 nocturnal eyes looking at us."

What about 100 jelly beans or something she can share with her class.
100 Barbie shoes.  My mom would have loved an excuse to glue those things to paper and keep them off the floor.
100 pics of your daughter in a collage.

My son is in K and I haven't heard of them doing this. I hope so bc I keep hearing other kids doing it and I know he'd enjoy it.

We did (for my nephew) a sports theme. We got a foam finger (think fans at a game) and glued 100 foam sports things on it. ie: basketballs, hockey sticks, footballs. etc. All at Michaels.

I'm looking foward to it. My son did this when he was in Kindergarten, nad maybe 1st grade too, this year he is in 3rd grade and they are having each class collect $100, to send to a charity.

gummy worms/fish (a kid in my K class did this and it was a big hit...but we decorated t-shirts with 100 of something)

When I taught K, one of my kids made the number 100 out of 100 legos. It was so cool.
Also, being that it's close to V-day, you can do 100 coversation hearts, glued into the number 100....I'll try to keep on thinking....

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions! I appreciate it! I searched a few websites, and saw the idea of "Say I love you in 100 Languages"
We bought poster paper and foam hearts, and we are going to print out the 100 I love you's and glue them and 100 foam hearts to the paper.

I see you already got an idea, but I'll share mine that DS did in kindergarden..
We took 100 different color and different size paperclips, glued them on a large posterboard into the shape of a house, tree and fence and spelled out 100 with them. It turned out pretty cute!

I'm a teacher too & we used to do....draw a picture of you now & then draw a picture of when you are 100. (Most of them got it...we got old people in wheelchairs or one child put an old man on the bed & said he's asleep/dead).
We also would graph fruit loops on paper (I taught 2nd & we'd do a project w/ K).

just thought I would pass on my dd 100th day--I loved it for a little girl-we bought a bucket hat---and put 100 silk flowers on it--small of course--and she actually wore it for Easter afterwards..

My DD loves dogs. So we cut out 100 dogs from magazines and glued them to a piece of oaktag like a collage. It came out cute.
