UPDATE #2...in top post: Good for my ego!!!
Long story short...I have a doctor I used to see often in NYC...sports med doctor who has helped me tremendously especially when I was training for the marathon. Well I used to see him and we used to sit in the room and talk for an hour or longer. He is an athlete and SOOOOO cute...like out of my league cute...at least I think so. Well all my friends know about him and my little crush for the last year and a half. They all used to think the feeling might be mutual because we used to email and touch base periodically...I thought nothing of it...except that I was smitten! 
Well yesterday I get an email from him...here it goes:
I just saw mary in the office (thank you very much for the referral 
and she told me you moved to atlanta.
wow, congrats! nice job finding some warmer temps!
I hope hope you are well and will really miss seeing you in the office!
I wish wish you the best and if ever back in NYC please let me know
as I would love to grab coffee if thats ok:)

The Verdict:
Im meeting Cute doctor friend next Wednesday at 6pm for coffee...place to be determined!! Gosh, this is the last thing I thought I would be doing during this business trip!!!

Gosh, I kinda liked the fantasy of "maybe he liked me too"...but now to actually talk to him on a real friend level not doctor/patient...WOW.
