what is everyone doing today?
im finishing eating a late breakfast and then i have to get ready to leave to the airport. i'm alone this weekend, Alia is with her dad.

Just got home from work, eating a snack while dd is sleeping and started laundry, next im going to try and do some cleaning (try is the key word)

relaxing now. we are trying to keep the dog from being active since he was neutered yesterday. then maybe going out later to a friends to play games.

Cleaning all day with DH! We do a 5 hour cleaning of our apt a few times a year (plus incremental cleanings). Just taking a break now because it's tiring!

I was supposed to go to work but last night we discovered that the pressure release valve on our burner is leaking and our carpet is soaking wet! So now I am sitting here waiting for Keyspan and will have to work tomorrow.

So far?
Got Hot Bagels for breakfast.
Dropped Rob's car off at Pep Boys.
Took the kids to the beach for a walk and some seashell collecting.
Walked the dog.
Played outside on the swings with the kids.
Invited my SIL and her boyfriend (one of my best friends since childhood) over for dinner and game night.
Did 2 loads of laundry.
Emptied the dishwasher.
Loaded the dishwasher.
Made grilled vegetables and chicken breast for lunch.
Cleaned the kitchen.
Went to the fish market for dinner (We are having steamed lemon dill flounder with sauteed Kale & Swiss Chard and CousCous.)
Straightened the office.
Checked my accounts at the bank.
Added a new bill for auto pay.
Screwed around on the internet.
The boys are getting up from a late nap now, so I will make them a quick snack of apple slices and honey soy butter and then we will work on their workbooks (math for Robbie and spatial concepts for Noah).
Later we will draw a little before our guests arrive - then I will cook dinner and we are having game night! Pictionary and Cranium! YAY!
I like writing it out - it makes me feel like I actually accomplished something today!

I've been doing playing with DS, doing laundry and I ran to Target.
I just showered and need to get dressed because DS and I are going to a family friend's 13th birthday party.

had furniture delivered - they were actually early which was great
in an hour im going to start dinner. DH is chaperoning the senior trip for his HS, so he is leaving tomorrow; therefore I will do cleaning then

i am apparently driving all over long island
i woke up before 6am after going to bed well after 2am and not sleeping well b/c DH isn't home and I kept hearing noises 
Then I drove from the north fork to Massapequa, then to ikea, then back to the north fork. WHILE I was on my way HOME, DH called to tell me he was going to get out of work early tonight and did I want to meet him at his parent's in bellport--- so now I'm leaving in an hour or so to drive back west to bellport!
at least i'll get to see my in-laws and I'll get to sleep in the same bed as DH tonight, even though he's leaving at 5am tomorrow morning to go back to work... it would have been to long of a trip for him to drive the extra hour each way...

Took a nap
Called my mom
Ready for nap number two
Fantasizing about a huge bento box for dinner that I will NEVER finish and will end up eating for lunch tomorrow if DH is willing to take me out for dinner tonight.

Took a nap this morning after being up for hours
Went and FINALLY got my bagel
Got my Boba tea
Came home and played around on the computer while eating and drinking my food.
Fell asleep while watching TV
Will empty dryer, and reload with the clothes from the washer
Must Must Must empty dishwasher, and reload
Have to vacuum
Have to start new load of white laundry... or at least set it to soak.
Brian just told me that he doesn't need me at the pizzeria.... so I have all night to accomplish this stuff!

Spent all they home cleaning just finished!!! But I feel much better now that the house looks and smells clean!!!!
Now I will start dinner and relax the rest of the night with dh and kids watching movies.

worked out
showered and did my hair for no reason
lounged and watched some god awful TV
posted a piece to this website for which I write
I ate somewhere in there and I'm going to do it again soon.
I have to go out tonight to this bar called the Brazen Fox. I wish it were called the Brazen Strumpet instead.

Stayed home with the boys while DH is at the office. He should be back soon so we can drop the boys off at his parents. We are going out to dinner with DH's best friend and his new girlfriend. I'm really looking forward to it bc I actually went to college with her and haven't seen her in 8 yrs. It's such a small world, she recently moved to Chicago and started dating DH's best friend.
