why do I have so much dust??

why do I have so much dust??
I do have sliding glass doors with no window treatment and I have a big bow window that I have the curtains open all the time but in 1 day the dust is already an inch thick it is disgusting
what can I do??

i use those new pledge wipes.. it really helps , and it makes it easier ... the dust builds up so fast..

Try getting one of those air purifiers from the Sharper Image or Brookstone. I had the same problem & it helped big time.

Do you have forced hot air heat? That tends to make things more dusty.
A humidifier system helps eliminate some of the dust.

Never thought of that...do I have to get one for every room? Or will it do it for the whole apartment. I feel the same way about the dust in my apartment I turn around and its back with full force!
