Freddy won't go
His appt for the fitting of his new leg is today and he is digging his heels in and is refusing to go.
I can't take off everytime he has an appt for this.
My parents feel helpless.
We are going to see if the home health care aid will go with them. We had to reschedule the appt.

we worked it out that the aide will go and we rescheduled the appt. We will see if he responds to her. So far, yesterday he did. She comes again on Thursday and hopefully can get him to shower and shave.
He responded to all of the medical personnel in the hospital but I think as time went on and he because more congizant of what was going on he got more depressed and that's what we are dealing with.
As far as I'm concerned the only appt he has to keep going forward is the psychiatrist. He's on new meds and it takes a while for them to work.

Awww~ I can't imagine how frustrating it is for you. It's amazing how much TBI patients will dig in their heels once they get their mind set to something.
You and your family are always in my . He's come such a long way.....
