Why is the OPK coming up positive?!
so i am on BC, however, i was on antibiotics last month for 12 days and i know me and my DH did the deed, but truthfully i cant remember exact days. So the past couple days i have been feeling not quite right and having some cramping, very tired, etc so i figured let me do an OPK to see if maybe i was ovulating and its coming up with a faint line! Holy moly-me and my DH did not use protection recently. So now i am nervous that my BC is not working even though i have been pretty good taking it. but someone told me that when your on antibiotics, it negates the BC that month and then you have have to wait another full month for the BC to work again. So either i am pregnant or ovulating- oh wow, i am pretty sure its the O b/c i did get a period 2 weeks ago, although it wasn't like it normally is on the pill.

are you sure you are reading the OPK correctly? When I was using them, for the entire first month I was reading them upside down, and what I thought was a positive, was actually a negative!

Unlike on an HPT, on an OPK, if the test line is fainter than the control line, it is a negative result.
If the test line is the same as or darker than the control line, it is a positive.
From your description, it sounds like you have a negative. I wouldn't worry at all.

B - I believe even if you are on the pill, you should still have some LH in your system, hence the faint line on the OPK. I always have a line on mine, regardless of where I am in my cycle after I've had AF. Like another poster said, it's only positive if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line.
BTW - Saw your dad and L yesterday.
