When did your DC first roll over? - NEW QUESTION ADDED
And was it back to front or front to back?
  Thanks!
***NEW QUESTION*** What can we do to help him learn to roll over? It looks like he'll do back to front first - he pushes off his heels, arches his back, and moves his torso to the side (if that makes any sense!). On his belly he keeps his feet in the air so I'm not sure if that's the right thing or not.
We do tummy time and back time with a toy to one side to entice him - but nothing yet.
The Dr made me nervous when he said that DS should be rolling over already, but he's 4 months so it looks like he is still within the normal range if he does it soon.
  Thanks again!

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
I think she was around 3.5 months when she rolled from her front to back and then around 5 months went the other way. Now she rolls all over the place like it's going out of style!

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
2.5 months belly to back (she hated to be on her belly so she figured this one out quick) She just started to roll from back to belly this week and she is 5 months. She also figured out how to put them together so now she is rolling all over the place

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
My first 2 babies went belly to back by 1 month (they used there big heads to help tip them ) My DD#2 is 3 months and has yet to do it.
DS rolled from back to belly at 3 months and Kaitee did it at 4 1/2 months old.

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
to back first at 3.5 months but didnt do it often at all, rarely to be honest.
He rolls alot now at 7 months but was a lazy roller IMO.

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
DS did back to belly only once but he pushed off of my leg...I think he is also a lazy roller. He can totally get onto his side and arches his back like he should...he just doesn't initiate or try to roll. I think maybe he can't get over his belly. He's 6 months---not sure if that should worry me or not.

Re: When did your DC first roll over?
Just over 3 months he found out if he tipped his head while doing tummy time that he could get to his back.
Around 4 months he really started to do it on his own, then around 4 1/2 months he started going from back to front. Once he gets on his front though he can't seem to get his arm out of the way. So he gives up after a while and goes back to his back. He's now 5 months.
