When Should I Test?
I should have Oed between the 6th and 11th and we BDed every day from the 1st till the 12th. I got AF Dec 26th last month, but since I just came off my BCP in November I don't know what my cycle is like. My Dr. said there was no wait time with the pill I was on, but since I'm not feeling any symptoms of pregnancy or AF I don't know what to think.
Should I wait until next week to test? I'm getting anxious, lol.

If you O'ed anywhere from the 6th-11th, AF would come 2 weeks later, so anywhere from the 20th-25th. If you don't know when you O'ed, I would wait until next weekend to test...Why toture yourself with BFN's especially if you are not 100% sure when AF is due

Hmmmm...that's a pretty big O window - can you narrow it down a bit?
If you O'd on the 6th, tomorrow would be 14dpo - which seems to be fine to test.
But if you O'd as late as the 11th, you'd only be 8dpo, which is pretty early.
I would wait until you know you're late. Do you know how long your LP is?

I have no idea what Luteal Phase is lol... I'm a fertility idiot
That's why my O window is so huge.
Before I had my daughter I Oed exactly 2 weeks from the first day of AF and my cycle was 28-30 days.

Of course...I think if you had more of a pinpoint & knew what your cycles typically ran or when you exactly Oed, it would help in the testing. As the above poster had said, if you did O around the 6th, then you could test & possibly get a BFP but if you are at the later day, you are WAY too early. With all that said, I am noticing a trend & my Dr told me too, most girls really don't get a BFP until they are late. She said & I laughed, "your generation are POAS crazy, the minute you can, you do...Let nature take its course." When she said it to me, it hit home & that is what I do now. I wait until AF is late & then I test. It is not worth stressing yourself out during the 2ww.

Your LP is the time from O to AF - it doesn't change from cycle to cycle (it may shift a day, but not often)
The time from AF to O can change lots due to stress, fatigue, travel, etc - so it's not likely you O'd exactly 2 weeks from AF every cycle before your daughter was born.
I think the PP was right, you should wait until next weekend to test to avoid disappointment if you don't really know when you O'd

Yeah, you're right, I may as well wait until I'm late... if I don't get it by the 26th. I guess it's only another week.
When I was pregnant with DD I was 10 weeks before I knew... now I'm possibly 2 weeks and I'm going nuts!

Your LP is the time from O to AF - it doesn't change from cycle to cycle (it may shift a day, but not often)

Ohhh... it hard for me to figure that out... I don't know when I Oed... maybe I didn't even this month. before DD I could tell when I was and now I have no idea. I can't even tell when AF is coming anymore! I'm all messed up! lol
