I got a job offer
From a great company, that is not far from my house. I am both excited at the prosepect of re-entering the workforce but sad that Jenna will be going to daycare. I am extremely fortunate to have had almost 2.5 years home with her. I could use some re-assurance from the working mommies that this will be a good thing for all of us

That's great!
Now, Jenna can spend time with other kids, learning how to socialize, and learning how to deal with other kids. She'll be able to play with kids her own age. Her mommy will miss her terribly, so at the end of the day she will gets tons of attention from mommy. 
It's a good thing. When do you start?

She is at a great age for you to feel comfortable putting her in a daycare setting. It will be hard for a couple of weeks, but in the end it is good for you and will also be good to make the break and let her socialize and have her own little friends.

I did something similar with Bryan and it was all good. I was so nervouse the night before the first day at daycare and back to workthat i didnt sleep a wink but it ended up being a really great thing and I sooo enjoy my lunch breaks and it has def helped Bryan with learning and socializing. They do so much with him at daycare much more than he ever did at home.

As a working mom I think you got the best of both worlds....you got to stay home with her for an important and nice chunk of time. And now you are re-entering the workforce with a job that sounds almost perfect. And I bet your daughter is going to thrive in this new experience. Congratulations!!!
