hello hello...
been *here* on LIF for a while floating around in the abyss of LIW/F-cyber space...
I am Caroline
--wife of Eric.
--sister (and best friend) of Porrruss (she's such a witch, isn't she?)
and... I am happy to announce that DH & I are **officially** off birth control.
we're not ACTIVELY TTC... but we're just going to put it in G*ds hands... and as my brother puts it.... the *pull out and pray* method of BC.
but should we be blessed, we will be happy...
I'm going to lurk around and get some *pointers*

I think what is terrifying about this whole thing is...
1. we are so strapped with cash right now that I am scared we're not able to afford a baby (though I know we'll work it out)
2. I have a seven year old.. I was a single mother since the day he was conceived. His father never wanted to be in his life... my son was a mistake. but he was the BEST mistake I ever made in my life.... so birth control became a TOP priority of my life... Getting pregnant was ALWAYS a scare of mine.. Its weird to know that IF i get pregnant... it is OK... rather than 'omg, i did it again...'

yeah, it took a little re-wiring for me too to accept that becoming pregnant is fine, and not an embarrassment (as if I am pregnant and 13  )
just keep thinking about inviting another version of your son into your life, and how amazing that will be!

Second, I know what you mean! We were 17 & 18 & obviously not married when I got pregnant with our daughter. It feels so weird to me now that when I do get pregnant, it's going to be so different finding out & telling everyone. I'm excited!

what are you talking about?!!! I always considered YOU the one with the good hair... it's NATURALLY reddish blonde... and it's so thick and healthy.
however, you DO have a version of mommy's hair and we all know what a mess mommy's hair is.
ok maybe I have the good hair.
you didn't get her teeth... be THANKFUL.

hey YOU! Are you planning on having one soon? I feel so bad b/c by the time I have another one... even if it's THIS year, my son will be at LEAST 8 years older... All my memories are of my sister and brother... my sister is 13 months older than me, and as you can see by the banter above, she is my best friend... my brother is still only 5 years young and we were still very close.
I just hope I am able to have two more, so the *new* baby will have a brother or sister to grow up with...
I know my son will be a big help, but they'll be so different.
You're lucky your young... you have time. I was 25 when I had my son. Still young... but now it's crunch time (hahaha)
