doctor tomorrow - Update
I'm going to the doctor (regular) tomorrow for a follow up appointment about something else - should I tell him my symptoms and have him do a test? I have been nervous to test as I fear being let down with a BFN or a false positive, even though it is my first month.
Do you think I should take a HPT before going to the doctor to prepare myself if he does want to test? I'm so nervous. About 13 DPO today.
Thanks for the advice - I'm just on pins and needles!
Update: I took two HPTs last night and one today and all came back BFN.  The doctor did a blood test today but I won't find out the results until tomorrow. Really discouraged though because I can't explain my symptoms, but trying to hold out hope. Thanks for all the advice.

Symptoms are - I have been "off" since last week at around 6DPO - on an off sore breasts, crampy, brown/light pink spotting from about 10DPO-13DPO, back ache, and crazy insomnia (this last one is my nerves I'm sure!). Still crampy now, keep thinking AF is here and when I go to the bathroom - nothing.

I would probably test, but that's because I'm an addict & because if it's a BFP, I'd rather find out privately on an HPT then have the doctor tell me. If you get a BFN, you can have them test tomorrow again just to be sure.
