So I'm sitting here having a cup of tea
in a mug and it got me thinking...does anyone use teacups anymore? I think I'm going to get a teacup and saucer. They're so pretty and dainty.

Im a huge tea drinker. Chinese teas though.
Just had a cup of blooming tiger that was OOOOOH so good YUM
I used to love my grandmother's tea set she gave me, but its long since gone. I know one cup broke and I lost a saucer --- the rest, god only knows.
ETA: I am going to Disney World next months and I booked my hubby and I for afternoon tea in the Grand Flordian

Sometimes my mom and I will go to tea here on LI and it's just a wonderful afternoon!
Highly recommend Lady Anne's Vintage tea room in Levittown & Robinson's tea room in Stony Brook.

I am a mug girl and you would gafaw at the size of some of my mugs
But I do have some tea cups, I save them for when th ladies com over for tea.

I agree....I have some tea sets and love them for company or the holidays, but if I want a cup of tea i want a big ol cup of tea....

I have plenty of tea cups and saucers. I'm not a big tea-drinker, but I have it on occasion. The problem with tea cups in my experience is not only the size, but the tea gets cold pretty quickly, too.
