So I have a question.
This is my first month using OPK's. I started today. CD 9 which I know is early but I started to feel like I might be Oing soon.. And I really didn't want to miss it. I have a line the test area. It is light but not too light. How long after you start seeing a line does it get positve? Do I have another week or another day or two or does it vary?

There will be a line there when you are about to O, your LP surge happens when the line is the same or darker than the test line. Good Luck!!!

The line will get darker as the days go on. If your line is light & not close to the reference line, you still have some more days to test. Trust me when you see the +, you will know

I can only give input from my experience with OPK's. I used the Answer dipsticks 20 day supply.
The test line is as dark if not darker than the control line when it's positive. It's practically purple it's so dark when positive. If you are using this brand of OPK it's not positive..but the good news is that you are seeing a line which means you're getting there

you are not early I always start testing at 9 DPO because I usually get my surge on 10 DPO. for the opk, once the line looks the same color you should start BD

you could have a few days or you could have more..it varies for everyone..but as soon as you see it get darker than the test line, go and have a bd marathon!!!

Ahhhh this is what I was asking on here yesterday but I guess I did not word it correctly!
I got a light line yesterday and today and I was wondering if that means O time is coming...I guess it is.

I thought I was the only one that felt this way. I've NEVER gotten a + or 2 lines on ANYTHING (including the months I used my CBEFM). I was so excited to finally see 2 lines as well!

Thanks everyone. I guess I should get ready to BD soon. We just did the post AF, get rid of all the tired spermies BD on Wednesday and now we are obstaining until postive OPK.. Unless it takes a while to get the pos and we might BD one more time. We tried the everyone other day thing for too many months with no success so now we are trying it a different way.. We will see what works.. right?

I think you have the right track of mind. You have to try every option until it works for you  I am with you though, I love the line OPK's bc it is so nice to see 2 lines!!!!
