when DD had a cold last month (16 mths) the dr said we could give her 1/2 a dose of children's tylenol cold. Since all of the infant one's were recalled. If you can get in touch with your dr it doesn't hurt to call him if that will make you feel better.

I would check with your ped because my ped does not like to give any cold med to the children.

My 4 month old was given triaminic nightimt and it worked wonders for her. Dosage is important for safety. I would call your ped.

I just feel soooo bad for her

our ped said to treat the symptoms of a cold/cough...and she said if you're going to give anything, gie the tylenol medicines for kids because the dosage would be the same as regular tylenol.

I wouldn't and only because I think it's better to let the cough break everything up and get it out. You may want to try an expentient (sp) which helps to break up the mucus but doesn't surpress the cough.
Molly had bronchitis and I got those Sudefed plugins, a humidifier and put Vicks on her soles. She was over it in less then a week.
