Does the type of HPT really matter?

Ok, so Thursday I’m gonna go buy my very first HPT. How freaky!

I am now 5 days late at the least and 8 days late at most. So I guess it’s time to find out what’s up. Is this just a freaky month with my period or did I get a xmas wish?

Since I’m a poor, POOR, girl and I really don’t want my hubby to know I’m using my cash to buy a HPT does it matter which brand?

Can you recommend any cheap brands? Something easy to use and reliable?

try the dollar tree tests!! just make sure you let it sit for a few minutes because it may take that long for the line to become really clear. good luck!!!

I would buy a drugstore test. they are not expensive and made by teh brand name manufacturers

this late in the game, anything should work. I suggest dollar tree tests or any generic. you can also go to www.peeonastick.com, they tell you the sensitivity of them all. Good luck!

Go out and get any test thats on sale!!! there was a coupon for First Response I posted a week or two ago!!!

i say go for the $ tree test if money is really tight. if you are at least 5 days late then a positive should show up no matter what you use if you are PG. if you get a +, confirm with another store brand test. if it's -, wait two more days then try the store brand to be sure. why wait until thurs.? go now so you can test with FMU on wed.!

I ended up with ept ditigal (by recommendation from a friend)

Im holding off because im terrified of BFN so the longer i wait the less likely right?

I finally told my hubby today where i am and etc... So he knows we'll prolly wait until saturday morning. that way if its a positive we can enjoy our weekend or if its negative we have time to get over it. *shrug*

If you are at least 5 days late, you should test ASAP. Waiting til Saturday is not going to up the chances. If you are PG, it would come up BFP!
