Fickle AF.. Update....
I started spotting yesterday (8DPO), still spotting today. Sometimes it's red, sometimes it's brown. So far NONE has been enough to get on a pad.
FF is saying perhaps implantation bleeding, but we TOTALLY didn't BD at the right time. Also~ I feel like my coverline should be higher- but I guess that doesn't matter.
I'm worrying that if this DOES turn into AF that I may have a short LP.
PLEASE oh PLEASE let it be implantation bleeding......
ETA: I just realized it looks like we only BD 3 times this month~ I just record the ones that are for "procreational use" only

How long is your LP? Do you usually spot? If you don't, then bleeding at 8dpo definitely sounds like implantation spotting to me. And don't pay too much attention to if you BD'd at the right time. The month I got my BFP, we were off by a few days, but the little swimmers just stuck around, I guess.  And my coverline has been as low as .4. Maybe this is really your month!!   :

But for this month.
My LP seems kind of short as well, although this is my third month off BCP and I feel like my cycle is still stabilizing. Even though I know your LP is supposed to remain fairly constant, I read in TCOYF that short LP is common among women just coming off. Are you just off?

UGH your cycle sounds like mine! I started spotting on 8DPO and hoped it was implantation bleeding. Continued to spot on 9 and then the BAF showed up on 10DPO (CD28). Just like you it was more brown then red.
It happened the same was last month except my cycle was 31 days.
I too, think I might have a short cycle(short LP that is). Even though we hung up our BD shoes for the next few months I started taking B complex vitamins yesterday. Maybe by June it will make a difference 
I know it's soooo annoying!! Here's looking towards the next month
