belly after baby..

my belly has gone down a lot, i am 20pounds less 6 days post preggo...the thing is my tummy is so loose down low and skinny under my ribs...is it gonna get better.....

Well, I'm still pretty loose too, but I think the skin has tightened up some since the baby. I also lost about 20 pounds since DS was born.

I'm guessing crunches and other exercise will help with this, but I haven't done much yet myself. Good luck!

it def takes time...you will notice changes every week. I lost 20 lbs initially too, but I think I started feeling better after about 6-8 weeks!

i am 20 weeks PP now and about 3 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight (i gained close to 40 lbs). even still, my pre-pregnancy pants will not fit right - my stomach still "bulges" a little. I had a c/s-i dont know if that makes a difference though?? Some people tell me it does, others say it doesnt .

I am 4 months pp and my lower belly is still flabby. If you look in my album you'll see my 1st belly shot (no belly yet) and my last belly shot 4 weeks pp...my belly was pretty flat but now the lower part is still bigger than it was. But I haven't done any cruches since, and I was doing them alllll the time pre-preggo.

I am 6 months post-partum and had lost 45 lbs from pregnancy at 8 weeks post-partum, but things are just different now. I am working my butt off trying to decrease the flab in my stomach area, but I can tell it's going to take even more hard work and more time...

I hate the way my belly looks, im 3 months PP and i did loose all the baby weight, but tummy is soo not tight.. I get soo depressed. I went to Maternity store yesterday for new nursing bra, man those Dressing room mirrors can be so cruel.

i know i still dont fit onot clothes so i was gonna wear low belly maternity dress pants today...i put them on but they just dont fit the same, when teres a baby they look good but now they just squish my gut...

I can tell you that prior to getting pregnant again my belly looked so much better it was no where near as jiggly as it I remember it being ever after I lost the pregnancy weight. However I did notice that you could see any bloat on me much easier.

my belly still hasn't gone down. and I am 5 weeks postpartum. I don't have hanging skin. I hope that my belly will still go down!

The tick is lots of core exercises - not just crunches - anything that works the core will tighten it up - it is beginning to look hopeful for me because of all the kickboxing

I had one weird pregnancy and my belly grew exponentially. The doctors said my skin could not keep up and was stretched out too quickly. I lost 40 pounds in delivery and a total of 70 pounds in the first 5 weeks pp. I still look pregnant at 4 months pp. I began working out at 3 weeks pp and am ready to kick it up a notch soon. I refuse to give up!!!!!!

My belly was never tight but it was pretty flat before pregnancy. I'm almost 7 weeks pp and my belly is pretty much flat again but it doesn't look the same...it's flabby It has gotten better since giving birth though. My belly pretty much went down right away but the shape started to come back little by little...I still have a long way to go though.

It takes lots of time...I know with my first son - it gots better each month but it took a good year for me to feel better about my belly (even though by 3 mos I had lost all my weight) and almost 18 mos for me to feel normal again. Belly was never my problem area until having babies. I am 5 mos pp now and it isn't horrible but not what I was always use to - but getting better every month. I know with my first Pilates for abs did help to tighten that stretched skin (although I didn't try until a year). I hate exercise so I never kept up with it and haven't tried at all yet after this baby.

With DS #1 my belly went down quickly. With DS#2, its been 13 months and I just cant seem to get rid of the extra skin. It drives me crazy. I don't know if it has to do with my being 5 years older...who knows????
