Holidays effing with schedule....?
We just spent 5 days with my parents and OMFG- DD is SO off her feeding and sleeping schedule. She's refusing to eat ANY solids and forget about any semblence of a sleep schedule. She refuses to nap, won't go to bed before TEN now (used to be 7:30) and is up every 3-4 hours.
Please tell me there are others out there having the same issue. And BTDT moms- it WILL get better, right?!

Re: Holidays effing with schedule....?
This happened to us when we went away for Thanksgiving. And it was an ABSOLUTE nightmare. THANKFULLY we stayed home this Christmas. But it WILL get better. Travel and the holidays are known to eff everything up I know it's hard, but try to keep her on her normal routine and she'll eventually "regulate" herself and get back to normal.

Re: Holidays effing with schedule....?
I think maybe it will take a little time for her to get back to her regular schedule. I remember how worried I was when we went on our cruise during the summer for a week. I was so afraid of him being off schedule all week. But thank god he did have some naps and it wasn't bad at all when we got home. He went back to his schedule. He actually ended up sleeping more than usual because of how tired he was from the vacation...

Re: Holidays effing with schedule....?
i can't say i totally know how this is b/c we didn't travel or anything but i will say that all the excitement and visiting relatives screwed up DD's naps on christmas day and staying out late messed it up too. that night was a nightmare! this is also with the combination of teething. but DD who is a great sleeper was up every hour on the hour that night. i swore after that we will NEVER stay out past her bedtime again! i think that after a few days of her routine your DD will be back to "normal"!
