VENT

DH and I want to concieve but he keeps pushing TTC date first he says when new year comes , now he says to me how bout we start in FEB.... I'm going crazy! I can't wait any longer. I'm ready to go. I've been on Pre-Natal vitamins 4 months! He's making me so frustrated.............. He over plans everything we do and thinks too much to the point where he makes a happy thing become very stressful

i am sorry - believe me, i know how hard it is to wait!

i KNOW that this isn't what you want to hear but i think your DH might subtly be trying to tell you that he's just not ready yet. i would sit down and have a heart to heart with him about why he wants to wait. i know it stinks but having a baby is huge (not that you don't know that) and IMO it's better for you both to be on the same page.

if i were you i know that this isn't what i'd want to hear, but i guess i would know that it's the truth... well my truth anyway... good luck and i hope you get to TTC soon!!

It is really important to be on the same page. I was ready to go sooner than DH and knowing that I was older to begin with, made it even harder. If you are not together on this one, whether it be the man or the woman who isnt ready, it will be that much harder once the kids come. February is not that far away! Hang in there!!!!

I was in the same situation, and I just had to give DH some time to come to the realization on his own...I also tend to push a lot, and I don't think men or at least DH responds to that,so I noticed that when I was quiet about it for two seconds , he was ready, and came to me on his own earlier than he said he wanted to and we started to try!!!!

you might want to explain to him that it could take a while to become pregnant. My DH wanted to wait a few more months and I explained to him some of our own friends and families situations TTC. Here we are on month 4, He is now glad we didn't wait any longer.

I also find that when I push, DH resists and I guess it makes sense, because I have done the same thing with him in the past. It is very frustrating, but hang in there! It will all come together...
