Does anyone know, does estrogen...
Does your estrogen go down closer to when AF is going to come? Basically I haven't gotten a peak, just highs or positive OPK. On CD 18 of a usual 26-28 day cycle. Today the Estrogen line on my CBEFM stick was darker than it has been (meaning your estrogen is decreasing when it's darker) but the LH line is a lot lighter. I don't think this is a good sign.
Sorry to be such a pain with these obscure questions. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. If it's residual med effects or something else that I should go to the doctor about.

Thanks. I guess it makes some sense that my "estrogen" is dropping now but I don't understand why I didn't get a positive OPK. I think I need to start temping to get a better picture.

Yes, your estrogen and progesterone levels should drop just before AF - hence why your temperatures take a nice dip before, or just as you're getting AF.
I agree, charting would definitely give you a better picture of exactly what's going on.

I'm CD 18 so I've got about 8-10 days left. Does that still make sense? Do they drop now or is it too soon? I wish I didn't even have to think about any of this.

Hmmm, honestly, I don't really know - what I DO know is that my temps and sticks will vary each week, day and month, and I try not to put too much import into any given variation. Seriously, I think many of your concerns will be assuaged by charting - and if you have any real concerns, you can always go to your ob/gyn who can take some blood and determine if your hormone levels are where they should be.
Could it be the steroid injection that still messing up your cycles?

I think it could be. I *thought* things were getting normal based on some symptoms. I will give it one more month (that will be 3 months) then I'll make an appointment with my OB if I don't have any definite signs of ovulation. I plan to use my BBT starting CD 1. I guess I have to sign up for some program online then?

Yeah - I prefer fertility friend. The chart will likely show you if you're ovulating - it won't show you when you're ovulating - you'll only be able to see that a few days after, but one month of charting should start to give you a clearer picture.
