prenatals
Are prenatals sold over the counter or need to be prescribed? If over the counter, what do you recommend and where can I get them?

For the most part they are OTC. You can get them at any pharmacy. I've seen some ladies get the Walmart brand bc they are the cheapest. At this point I'm not taking prenatals, just a multi-vitamin and folic acid.

I've also heard that Targets are really good, and don't irritate the stomach...I have a RX one, that I haven't started taking yet, just taking a strong multivitamin for now...also Costco has the nature made ones, and the bottle is masisive

I picked a bottle up from Target..It's called Rainbow Light...I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and so far so good...10 bucks for 50 pills.

My doctor prescribed mine but I remember someone posting that they got them at costco for a great price.

I was using the walmart brand till my gyno gave me a bunch of samples to try. Which ever one agrees with me better she will write an RX for.

I started taking them a year ago in preperatin, but the prescriptions made me sick. I bougt the walmart prenatals and LOVE them. I had a check up on Thursday and asked my doc if we should switch since we're really getting ready to try.....she said nope they are just as good. So my advice is do otc
