I'm not really sure if that makes a big difference. Why don't you ask your dr.?

Re: my husband smokes
I have heard it decreases fertility in men and women. Although I do know plenty of people who smoke and have had healthy children without any problems.
I would think if he wants to have children he would want stop himself without you intervening.

Re: my husband smokes
You can still get pregnant, my So's brother smokes pot religiously every day a couple times a day and they had no problem getting pregnant. Ideally, it would be great if you DH could stop. But it shouldn't have that much of an effect on you getting preggo.

I'm not really sure if that makes a big difference.
Doubt it. My parents were hippies and I was born in the early 70's

Re: my husband smokes
My BIL is practically on fire he smokes so much. My sis has three healthy boys and I know plenty of other people who do the same and have had no problems having children. They do say it lowers fertility but I have seen evidence, namely my nephews, to the contrary.

Lets just say that Cailen was conceived in a similar way...
I answered in your TTC post, but I dont see pot as something that eneds rehab - he may be trtying to avoid the issue, and not ready to really face the responsibilities of being a parent or trying... that seems to be the bigger issue - whether its pot, drinking, or playing video games - KWIM? If he wont stop to TTC, then he is not ready - he needs to be ready to do all he can to try and have a baby...
Good luck!!!

Re: my husband smokes
Will he smoke outside or away from you when you are pregnant? I would ask mine to do that if he smoked.
While trying to get pregnant, I don't think smoking makes a big difference in his sperm. Heavy drinking or drug use can cause problems, but I don't think smoking does.

Re: my husband smokes
I know many men & women who are/were pot smokers who had no problem conceiving and having healthy babies.
