First PP AF, TMI to the nth degree....
Not only did I bleed through an extra absorbant 'pon, but I bled through a minipad AND I bled through my (black) pants at work!!
THEN- DH and I had to run errands this evening- I bled through onto the upholstery in my car!!!!! 
OMG!!!! I am bleeding to death. It's like blood in biblical proportions..... Like in that scene from "The Shining...."
Man.... thank goodness I let the car dealer talk me into the upholstery care extras. Now how do I explain it to Hyundai? 
I know- I'm disgusting. You should be glad I didn't talk about the gas.....

My first PP AF was really heavy too, I went to my OB cause I thought I was hemroging (sp?) he said it was just a heavy period. I got so scared I almost  like I was going to die!

Ok, I just got over mine. I got last week and I have never in my life had a heavier AF. It was BAD. REALLY BAD.

I'm afraid to say it....but I *think* mine just went away after 40 days....and it was as heavy as your's was.
I dreaded waking up in the morning because of the mess I would be sleeping in.
So SO disgusting what we go through.....

The next one was worse for me
Honestly, you need the big pads for a while. I know tampons are easier, but for the next two months or so you need those thick motherfers
