Inducing question for the BTDT moms

If you were INDUCED, did you have the baby vaginally or did you end up having to have a C-section?

I was induced, started on the Cervadil on a Sunday night, started Pitocin the next morning, made no real progress so they stopped the pitocin Monday night, started up again Tuesday morning, they broke my water and that's when it really kicked and I delivered Tuesday night.

No c-section here, thankfully. I went in for my scheduled induction and was already having contractions (that I didn't feel), so they didn't have to do the Cervadil (thankfully!!)...they just broke my water and I was given pitocin. And 7 hours after checking into the hospital, DD was born with a natural delivery.

Vaginally....4 hours from start to finish..but I dont know if you can really go by me..this wasnt my first.

I cant believe little AJ is almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to see pics!!

I was given cervadil on a Wednesday night and started pitocin first thing Thursday morning, 6am. They broke my water about 3pm and I had to have an emergency c-section at 10:50 pm b/c I never could get beyond 5cm and Devin was trying to squeeze through so his heart rate was dropping. Probably not the norm and not the answer you were looking for, but that's my story.... Congratulations on your upcoming delivery and good luck!!!!

induced and wound up with a c-section due to fetal distress...I had a healthy 9lb, 8oz baby girl and I had a GREAT experience

Induced TWICE by choice.....V-Birth both times. Quick AND easy!

I was induced both times and had vaginal births.

Vaginal delivery. Got Cervadil Monday night, got the pitocin around 11:30am, got epi at 1:30pm and baby came out at 5:21pm with 15 min of pushing.

I was induced on Tuesday evening with Cervadil. Wedneday morning, they said the cervadil didn't do too much so they added Pitocin to my IV. I felt some light contractions, but they bacame worried about the baby so they did a c-section

I was induced at 11:30pm and at 7am the following morning the cervadil fell out and they started the pitocin. I ended up having a vaginal birth at 5pm that day. I wouldnt have changed a thing.

I was induced with pitocin on Monday at 5PM and delievered vaginally the wee hours on Tuesday 3:14AM. It was about 10 hours but not too bad. All I can say is....I love the epidural!!!

I was induced 1 week before my due date and had her vaginally. I was already 3 cm dialated and 80-90% effaced.

I was induced and it was awful. Started Saturday 6.30 and had the kid Monday 9 pm. Not a nice 3 days...not nice at all. I just feel lucky that I didn't have to have a c-section. Next baby I won't choose to be induced unless absolutely necessary.

Both vaginally.

I had a great experience with wonderful nurses and staff.

I was induced and delivered vaginally. I will not choose induction again unless absolutely medically necessary.
