My mother in law offered to watch the baby after maternity leave, and my mother wants to watch the baby during every day she has off, and on summer vacation.
We are so lucky, and thank our lucky stars!

my DH will watch DD one day during week, hes off. and my sis said shell watch her two days..
so im only working 3 days a week and when she gets older im going to put her in a school daycare that my sis used with her kids.

Not sure. I haven't told work yet about my pregnancy. Waiting until my first trimester has passed.
I am hoping they will allow me to telecommute. Fingers crossed!

This is our daycare week actually (we're trying to break it all day by weeks so that it's not quite so overwhelming). I just put in a 'contact me' for the two closest Tutor Times and have to get the number of a third place that was recommended to us by some neighbors.

Friday I'm going to visit a few places... 2 of which told me they have no availability and can't guaranty that they'll have room in the spring when I'll need them.  But I'm going to look and hopefully put myself on a wait list anyway.
My mom knows a woman who volunteered to watch my baby, so I'll probably be using her at least until a spot opens up.

I'm lucky- my mom runs a daycare. Has since I was a child. I made a deal with her when I was 15 and tired of kids all over the house- that she would watch my kids when I had them!

My MIL watches kids for a living. She is going to retire next year (she's watching a teacher's kid so from March until June she'll have her and our baby). After June it will just be our baby. We really lucked out because we really would have been strapped if we had to pay for daycare.

I can work it out between me and DH's hours and can bring the baby to work!! I will probably bring DC to daycare one day a week so i can get things done and for socialization!
