Where and when did you register?
It's probably early to do this, but I'm curious... at what point in your pregnancy did you register? Some old friends of mine that I informed of my pregnancy via email told me to forward my registry to them when I have it done. I'm not finding out the sex in advance, so it'll all be gender neutral.
Where did you register and what influenced your choice?

Re: Where and when did you register?
i registered at 20 weeks when we found out the sex. we registered at BRU for the simple reason that they are easily accessible for ourselves and our friends and family

Re: Where and when did you register?
I just registered this past weekend, so almost 23 weeks. We registered at BRU b/c I think they're more easily accessible than BBB but also b/c I find BRU generally less expensive and more likely to offer coupons that hopefully our shower attendees will get their hands on.

I registered at 20weeks at BRU. Same reason there are more around and its closer to me. I also like the fact they have coupons.

Re: Where and when did you register?
Are there a lot of BRU? I know there's a BBB right here in Westbury near me. There's a BRU near my parent's in Suffolk, but what about Nassau and Queens? Is BRU as accessable to those areas? I may just never have noticed BRU. I've always had to go to BBB for most showers I've been to.

Re: Where and when did you register?
I registered after I found out the sex at 25 weeks. BRU. But you can do it sooner, do research online and pick what you want. Just don't tell anyone until your absolutely sure what you want.

Re: Where and when did you register?
I was the worst!!!!! I think I started my registry when I was about 12 weeks! hahahahaaaaaa
But don't follow in my footsteps please... things go out of stock, and it's just a PITA...
Register when u are further on... like the ladies who were 20 and 21 weeks and so forth, cuz it'll be less trouble for you in the end.
I registered @ BRU, but that's only because... here in Vegas... there is no BBB

Re: Where and when did you register?
We registered at Babies R Us at around 16 weeks...we wanted to find out what we were having, but we still knew that all the big items were going to be gender neutral so we can use them with future children. When we found out we were having a girl I went back and added some girly clothes and bibs and blankets and stuff.

Re: Where and when did you register?
I started at 16 weeks, and I registered at both BRU and BBB. I hate that, I like more of the things at BRU, but my cousin works for BedBath and Beyond, and they own BBB- she gets a huge friends and family discount, so my mom suggested that BBB would be best for that side of the family. Plus they have free shipping, BRU doesn't. I think. I will complete the registry after 11/3 when we know the sex. Right now it's all gender neutral big stuff.

Re: Where and when did you register?
My best friend registered at Buy Buy Baby. I'm on the fence. Think I want furniture though from Bellini, my friend was very happy with her Bellini crib, moreso than another one she got elsewhere. I want the one that converts into a bed when the baby outgrows a crib.
I kind of want to wait to register, but I'll be in the 20 weeks during December... I avoid retail stores at all costs after ThanksGiving. So either I have to register in early November or wait until a sunny day in January (I also don't shop in cold weather or in snow - LOL).

Re: Where and when did you register?
I started an online registry at BRU when I was around 10 weeks along. I finished it after we found out the sex at 21 weeks. I had also started a registry at BBB but I took it down....BRU is more convenient for most people.

Re: Where and when did you register?
I'm going to be registering in 2 weeks...when I find out the sex. I'm def registering at BRU and also debating between Target because I saw a car seat I want there and BBB because the bedding I want is there.

Re: Where and when did you register?
I'm registering at BBB this weekend - I'll be 23 weeks. I personally like their selection of gliders and crib sheets better than other places I've seen. That's what solidified my decision.
