Lottery scratch off question
I was wondering if you had a 'BIG' Lottery scratch off ticket that was worth lots of money and it was accidently ripped from a machine, would it be valid?(No i did not win ) it was on the news, that a lady from nassua played a $2 scratch off from pathmark and the machine ripped it in half, and the ticket is worth.... Hold on to your hats...$25,000, the lottery people are saying it's not valid and she is damanding 'Her' money, Do you think she is right 'OR' is the Lottery people Right? I think she is going to take them to court! Discuss if you want!

She couldn't just take out the whole ticket?

NYS Lottery believes it is two pieces from DIFFERENT tickets making it a winner.

I think if she got a ticket that was ripped, she should have reported it AT ONCE.
Not when she "wins"
I would thinik there is some kind of "small print" that protects NY Lotto from things like this.

it was ripped it half,'according' to the lady! I smell a  and if she continues she will go to jail!and she put a payment down on a car and bought more tickets before getting the money... Like i said I smell a
