I agree. After babysitting my nephew and 2 nieces I told DH we will always need to have man to man defense!

However now being pregnant, one might be enough.Chat Icon

We both would like 2, but 3 would always be an option but life is expensive these days!! We'll see what the future holds!!

I think we would both love 4. But with time and fertility limitations, we are maxing out at 2 unless of course my second pregnancy is multiples.

I want to have 3... I think that he would be satisfied with 2 though. I have no preference on sex tho... Whatever God blesses us with! Chat Icon

What if your first pregnancy is multiples? Are you pregnant?

I'm leaning towards 2, he says he'll be happy with 1.

I'd like two, DH would be fine with one (but purely based on financial reasons), so two it is!

I always thought 2 would be good. But now that I'm PG I'm starting to think just 1 would be fine too. So is DH.

It's weird, ever since I'm PG I am totally feeling different about babies and being PG then before I was PG. Before being PG I couldn't wait to have a baby and was very excited about the whole thing. Now that I am PG I am just totally stressed out about the whole thing and I feel like I'm not enjoying the whole pregnancy thing like I thought I would. Chat Icon Now that I'm PG I'm thinking that I'm not going to be able to pick up and go on vacation like I used to. I will have to plan around the kids time off from school and travel then (when it's also the most expensive too). Not to mention a trip for a whole family is a lot more than just the two of us. My next vacation will be disney in like 5 years. Chat Icon Sorry for my rant!

Re: How many children do you and your dh/dw/so want to have?

I have DS from a previous marriage. He is 3.5yo.

DH and I are not sure if we want to have any yet. Sometimes I think no and others, especially recently I think yes.

If we do we will not start trying for at least 2 years. I hope we do have one, just one and i would be set with that but we'll see. We have only been married for less than 2 months so we have plenty of time to decide.
