My first question already.
OK, so I got three BFP this weekend (haven't even missed AF yet, she is due tomorrow). From what I've been reading I'm only about 4 weeks pregnant. When do I make my first dr. appointment? Right away? Or am I supposed to wait until they can hear the heartbeat?

Every office is different. Call and tell them exactly what you just posted and they will schedule the appointment.

Call your OB/Gyn tomorrow & tell them you got a BFP, they'll set up an appointment according to their policy (some want to see you right away, others not until they'll see a heartbeat on a sono.) Congrats!

Mine had me come in ASAP for bloodwork and a visit with the nurse practicioner, but I didn't see the MD til 7wks or so.

I think most Docs will want to see you around 6-7 weeks, but I would call right away and let them tell you.

I took a HPT the day before AF was due and got a BFP, I took another the day AF was due and got another BFP. I called my doctor that Monday to see when she would take me, she wanted to see my right away. My doctor saw me at about 4.5 weeks. It depends on the OB to be quite honest, most do not take patients until they are at least 8-10 weeks so I've heard.
Definitely give your OB a call and see when he/she will take you.

Got my BFP Friday Oct. 12! I called Monday and the nurse practioner in my OB/GYN office is seeing me Tuesday Oct. 30. I guess I will be about 5 1/2 weeks then.
