New here....with question
Hi ladies I'm coming back to the pregancy boards after a short leave As you can tell from my screen name I already have one DC. I am a regular poster for a few years now, but am using an alias until I have my first sono.
So my first pregnancy was a breeze. I never felt better. Had TONS of energy, no food adversions, no MS, nothing. Pregnancy #2 not so good. I'm 7 weeks and I started with MS last week. I never had it so I don't know what to do about it. I'm not vomiting (knocks on wood) just really queasy almost all day. If I even THINK about food my stomach turns, but I'm hungry.
OK so what can I eat/drink/think about to make myself feel better...also how long did the MS last for you if you had it.
Thanks ladies

Ginger lemon tea, watermelon. Wear "sea bands" on your wrists - you can get them near the motion sickness pills at the drugstore.

Re: New here....with question
my doctor told me anything that is white. white bread, crackers, bagels. i had bad morning sickness and it subsided around 15 weeks. i also could not take the smells or food but was hungry. best thing to do is eat small meals but do not over eat that seems to make me feel even worse. good luck to you.

Re: New here....with question
Everyone is different, but the only foods I could eat without gagging or getting nausous were breads (no pasta though), fruit, cheese, fish, ginger ale, ice cream, popsicles, and pizza. Hardly the healthy start I wanted to give my baby, but it was the best I could do.

Re: New here....with question
eating lemons, a whole raw lemon, really helped me A LOT! Sometimes just licking it as a lolipop helped.
Also, try eating small meals often. I remember I was more nausious when i didn't eat than when I did.
stay away from smelly food.. they cause MS! I could only eat blend food - very blend - no chinese for me for those 3 months!
