baby is 5 1/2 lbs already!!!
Doc says I am measuring 5 days ahead and if all keeps on course the baby will be over 8 lbs!!!!
Oh jeez, how am I gonna do this!?!?!?!?!?!

Mine was 5 lbs 12 oz on Tuesday...she is my little piggy. They keep telling me they will slow down now, but I don't believe them, she seriously put 10 ounces on in a week according to their estimates. My little piggy is going to be over 6 lbs when I go back on Tuesday!!

Thats funny, I'm measuring 5 days ahead too. They changed my date to 11/29, even though I am still having a csection on the 20th. But she's 5 lbs and something ounces today (33 weeks and 3 days). But they didn't say how much she would be when she's born.

big baby!!! just so u know, they told me chris was over 8 lbs and he was only 6 lbs 13 oz...they dont always know what is going on!! any dilation?

Don't worry, it is just an estimate. They told my sister her son was going to be 9 lbs and he was born under 8. You will be fine!!!

Aaww don't worry - you've got a nice healthy one!  I was an 8 pounder and my mom voluntarily elected to go through it all again for my sister after squeezing my big arse out w/ no epidural...that's what I remind myself of when I freak out.

they said the same thing to me with my first and she was 6lbs 9 oz... the measurements usually are not very accurate, don't worry!

dont worry too much about what the sono tech tells you the weight of your baby is.. I was GD and the entire pregnancy they told me my baby was going to be huge and every sono she would say "wow big baby".. They told me at my 40 week she was 8lbs 7oz, few days later she was born and she was only 7lbs 5oz and now shell be 4 weeks old tomorrow and shes still in newborn outfits..

ultrasounds are notorious for overestimating the baby's weight.

At 34 weeks my  was already 5lbs 13oz...they said at the rate she is going if she gains the typical 1/2 pound a week she'll weigh in at 8lbs 13oz at 40 weeks
