when do we take it? what do you have to do?

At my appointment last week she gave me the prescription to go. She said to go between 25-26 weeks. I think you just drink something, wait an hour, and then they take blood.

Yeah I just had mine done at 26 weeks. I think its between 25-28 weeks. They give you a sugar drink and you have to wait an hour and they'll draw your blood.

ughhhh i HATE getting blood drawn  is there anyway to make sure you pass?

I had my done at 28 weeks.YOu have to fast 12 hours(well 12 hours for me).You have to drink this cold drink.The drink is not as bad as I heard it was. It taste to me like orange soda but I did feel a little sick right after I drank it.Just drink it as fast as you can.I think its easier that way.After a hour from drinking the drink .They took my blood and toldtold me that I can go home.Next appointment my doctor told me that everything looked great.Good luck.

I had mine last Friday at 26 weeks. It wasn't so bad - the drink tasted like Pepsi and I was STARVING so I was happy to take anything in.
