I got soup for lunch and
I realized there's cheese in here. Should I be worried, because we're supposed to stay away from cheese?
It doesn't say what cheese is in there.

Re: I got soup for lunch and
You don't need to stay away from all cheese - just unpasteruized ones.
I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy!!

Re: I got soup for lunch and
oh ok thanks, that's what I thought.
But how do I know if its unpasteruized? Like there's other place that I love their Chicken Ceaser salad sandwich, which has mayo and parm cheese. How do I know if the parm cheese is pasteruized?
Also, can we eat mayo?

Re: I got soup for lunch and
You have to know whether the ceasar dressing and mayo are made with raw eggs. If it is, then you aren't supposed to eat it.
As for cheese, if it is unpasteurized, but cooked, I believe you can eat it. These are cheeses like feta and soft cheeses. If you have cheese in your soup, I doubt it is feta, and even so, it would have been cooked in the soup.

Re: I got soup for lunch and
I don't think any cheese in this country is sold unpasteurized...
Caesar dressing could be made with raw eggs so i would ask...
Yes, you can eat mayo...
