Strollers???
I am in love with the Bugaboo strollers, but am wondering if there are similar strollers for a little less money that I should look into.
The features that I love are:
pram for newborns tires can go "off roading" (I take my dog for a walk nightly at a middle school field and would like to be able to continue to do this with the baby and husband) car seat adaptions style/look/colors age range of birth till 4 years reclining feature
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Strollers???
I just bought the new Maxi-Cosi Foray stroller...its similar to the bugaboo in styling and features...so far I love it! Its easy to use and the baby loves it! It doesn't have the pram feature, but I have another stroller that does, so I didn't need that!

Re: Strollers???
Hi!
I have used my bug everyday for the past 9 months. I love it...but it fits me. Takes two hands to open and close it. Takes up a lot of room in the trunk. Seperates into 2 pieces...so securing it on a flight was a PITA.
But, it is great at the beach, great on crazy terrain. Ours has been to the city, Myrtle Beach, the Smokey Mountains, the Redwood forests...it takes a beating and still looks and works great.
We stroll around the neighborhood and on errands, baby is comfy and happy.
however...I would consider splitting the money into two. Maybe get a jogging stroller for your walks and a Queen B, from Bumbleride, for the pram and out and about trips.
ETA: the carseat adaptor for the bug was another 50.00.

Re: Strollers???
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bumbleride but I'm not sure how it would do off roading but it has everything else you mentioned.

I would get that and then a cheaper jogging stroller...check craigslist, they are practically brand new on there.

Re: Strollers???
As everyone knows, I loved my Bugaboo, but once my son turned one earlier this year I found it to be pretty much useless. The seat is not big enough for a toddler, he seemed squashed in there, and it isn’t the stroller for you if you are in and out of the car more than once a day. It was invaluable for me when my son was tiny and when I was on maternity leave because I walked everywhere, every single day, it is a city pushchair and it is the market leader for one reason, fantastic suspension and fantastic turning. However, I also love my Maclaren… Not to mention, imo the Bugaboo is the best looking stroller on the market. Unfortunately, mine is now in the attic awaiting its new baby…not until next year trusty Bug!!!

I am so excited about this! It looks great. I am going to have to look into this.
Thank you to everyone else for the replies! I am really going to look into everything that you all have suggested.
My original thought was to find an "all in one stroller" because we are going to continue to live in my small apartment until our house is finished being built (which is going to take a while). So being that we have no space whatsoever for a while I thought the bugaboo would be a good idea, but the price is more than I wanted to spend. It also seems like all of the options are crazy expensive!
Also thank you for letting me know that past 1 year old, the baby may be a little uncomfortable. $800 for 1 year of use doesn't seem worth it to me.

Re: Strollers???
I have a small apt. too. I was also looking for an "all in one" type stroller. I really like the Quinny Buzz - it's compact, folds easily and has all the interchangeable parts. It's also half the price of a bugaboo. Check it out!
