I think as long as the walls and bedding are light it will look great.

I don't think so, our crib is espresso and though we're having a boy i bought neutral bedding b/c my husband wanted to keep the brown paint that's in the room...ugh...lol...i'll try to add a pic for you....

I hope not - I want espresso and we don't know what we're having!

I think that if you do the walls and everything else lighter, the espresso will look rich and beautiful.

I think the espresso color would be beautiful for either sex. Just keep the walls light.

Re: Do you think an espresso colored crib...

I think any color goes in a girls room (or boys for that matter). It's all what your preference is. I would have gotten espresso, but DH just doesn't like really dark wood. So we compromised and did Cherry.

No, we went with a rubbed black finish. It is black but the edges look rubbed off with some cranberry coming through (you really have to look to see the cranberry). The design of the furniture is more traditional so I liked that the black modernized it. I have modern crib bedding for her in whites and pinks and it looks beautiful.

Not at all, if I have Chat Icon I plan on purchasing an espresso colored crib set. If I have a Chat Icon I will stick to antique white being it's much more feminine.
