What age for exersaucer?
Daycare told me they put DS in the exersaucer today and did great.
He is only 3.5 months. Isn't it a bit TOO EARLY for him to go in the exersaucer?

we put dd in at around that time. I know my mom has been putting my DS in it at her house. He is 3 1/2 mths also. She puts a blanket behind him.

i think i started when my son was about 4 months but i would roll up blankets and wrap them around his front and back so there wasnt so much space for him to fall back and forth i would definatly ask day care to put blankets around your baby though just for some extra padding.

my son started in it around 3months old. He would only go in for a few minutes, and really had no idea what to do....we would work the toys for him. Now at 4 months, he does most of it on his own.
ETA--we did the blankets in the back at first as well.

My daycare wouldn't allow her in it until I wrote a note saying she was able to go in it with a blanket for support. Her teacher said something like it's a regulation. She was five months at the time (but I think the teacher was thinking she was 4 mos).
Anyway, I put her in it at home around 3 mos with a blanket. She didn't do much, but I was trying to keep her off her back since her head was so flat.

I put DS in exersaucer at 4 months, but daycare doesn't put them in until their 5 month birthday. 6 months for jumperoo.
