I am polite to them but thats it. If we are in a convo and I dont agree I will voice my opinion if asked. otherwise I avoid them whenever possible. Im probably conceived as a b*tch b/c of it too or unsociable. Frannkly I hate fake people and dont like to associate with them.

I actually feel sorry for fake people. There's a reason they have to be fake. insecure about something and cant be themselves.

Depends on the setting. I'll be cordial to them but try to have as little to do with them as possible. I don't buy into their fake crap though. I have someone like that right now, whenever she starts to try and blow smoke up my arse, I cut her off.

Depends on when I encounter them. If it's work, I'm cordial but watch my back. If it's personal, I completely disregard them. Life is too short to deal with that kind of BS.

ditto!!! FBIL is so fake its not even funny! he says the most insane things that are sooooooo hard to believe. it used to bug me so much but now ive just learned not to make eye contact or acknowledge his dumb comments. he may take that as me being a beyotch, but its really the only way i keep from jumping across the table and smacking him silly. its really the lesser of two evils!

I try to ignore them, or at least avoid feeding into their crap...
Like i used to work with a woman who tried to give a compliment to everyone - but she would figure out what everyone's issue was, and then try to compliment them... so if someone was heavy and trying to diet, she'd always comment at how much weight they lost, which they didnt, or if someone did something different to their hair, she'd carry on about it...
Its so annoying... You know when someone is sincerely complimenting you. When she complimented me (wow - you look so great, etc...) I'd just say, I do? wow... cool... in a monotone voice, and that would be it...
she wound up not liking me too much!

I totally agree. I thought someone was my friend and found out she was totally fake. I was warned about her and said, hey, I'll make my own opinion of it. I should have listened!!!! She has cause SO many problems for me and she walks around like she is the queen. Ugh!!!
